Sad

A precious friend that I knew in college died this morning with injuries from a car accident that happened yesterday. Her name was Jill Jarvis Attebery. Please pray for her husband, Scott and their infant son (I believe that Baby Bryce is only about 3 months old). It is so devastating. Jill was so full life and always had a beautiful smile. She is with Jesus and for that we can rejoice but it still is hard to understand when these things happen.

What is a friend?  Webster defines a friend as: a person whom one knows, likes, and trusts. Replace My Complaining Attitude

If you know anything about me, you know that I am blunt.  I am straight-forward, to the point, and to a fault, honest.  This is something that I have often wanted to change about myself.  Let's face it, there are things about each one of us that we would change, and let me be clear, there are MANY other things I would change but becoming more gentle has always been something I have longed for. A public blog is not a place to "air out dirty laundry" and I apologize. Matthew 18:1 says, "If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault, just between the two of you....." Also, I Corinthians 13:4-7 says, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
