Reason to Rejoice

LAUREN ELIZABETH HESTER!!!!!! YOU ARE ELEVEN MONTHS OLD!!!! WOW!!! In one short month, you will be 1. That's nutso! I cannot believe it has almost been a year. It was almost a year ago that I started my weekly trips to the hospital only to stay there not too long from now. February was an exciting month for us! We thought you would be born in February! Thankfully, you weren't....Mommy stabilized and you were born right.on.time...a little early but big and healthy! Let's see....you are probably right at 22 pounds and probably 30+ inches long if I had to guess. You just went to size 4 diapers which are quite big on you but the size 3s were getting tight on those thighs! =) You are almost completely finished with the bottle...only taking a night bottle. It is time for me to play Christmas catch-up. We have been out of town and I have been busy with the kiddos. This year has been so much fun and I will try to tell you all about it without making this post too terribly long. CHRISTMAS EVE! We had a white Christmas Eve and it stayed for Christmas morning. To my knowledge (or recollection, anyway) this was my first white Christmas. I think it's crazy that I live in Texas and we have had more snow this year than Arkansas has! Here is our house on Christmas Eve right before we left to go to my aunt's to celebrate. We normally spend Christmas Eve at my Granny's but this was our first Christmas without her. It was very different and I had a hard time processing how different it would be. It made me very sad. First things, first.... Meet....Little Miss Muffet I think this is adorable. Lauren is going to be a spider...her outfit is too cute as well! More pictures after Halloween. Lauren is 6 months old! Happy 1/2 birthday my baby girl!! We don't go to the doctor until the 21st for Lauren's 6 month checkup. I am going to guess that she weighs right at 20 lbs and is 28 inches long.
