Weekend Recap
I had a great weekend! After the week I had it was nice to have sunshine and time with friends and family.
First of all, the weather was absolutely beautiful! Saturday I went to Babies R Us with Krista and spent a lot of time there!!! She added some things to her registry and I bought quite a bit of things for the baby. They were having a huge sale and it was well worth it. I bought some things for breastfeeding that I am sure no one else is going to buy for me....just sayin. I got diapers for Rachel and for baby and some newborn clothes, etc....anyway, let me just say that I do not intend on buying anything else for baby until she is born...or at least until after the shower in a couple of weeks! I am so excited about my baby shower!
Today we had church this morning and I have to say that I was not feeling really well. I was terribly uncomfortable all morning. When we got home, I took vitamins, Tylenol, ate lunch and took a MUCH NEEDED nap! I felt 100 times better when I got up but I really wanted to sleep longer. Brice fixed the crib so that I could put the baby bedding in it and it is so cute!!! I love the baby's room! Brice went to the store and my aunt and cousins came over to watch the superbowl. We really didn't watch much of the game. We ate burgers and cheese dip and stuff and just hung out watching the kids. We had a good time. The Steelers are Brice's team and he is very glad that they won. I didn't care either way.
Tomorrow Rachel goes to Parent's Day Out and depending on how I feel, I might do some scrapbooking. I haven't even had the chance to try out my Cricut cartridges! I have 2 pages lined up to do but just haven't done them...I really need to get a move on it so that I can start on the baby's in the next month or so.
I am feeling okay at this point in my pregnancy. Like I said, I was uncomfortable this morning...maybe because I am 8 months pregnant. I have gotten to where I can't eat much at a time...no room, I suppose. I still have only had minimal swelling in my hands. Today my feet hurt really bad but I did not have any swelling. I am getting increasingly more tired with each day but honestly I am enjoying pregnancy this time around. I love everything about feeling her move around...although she does hurt me sometimes. It is just incredible to think about how God fashioned this little being inside of me!!! I go back to the doctor on Wednesday for my 32 week checkup.
Congratulations to Jill and Dennis on the birth of their baby girl - Brighton!
