Redemption is sweet!  Isn't it?  I know you have heard that phrase, right?  Well, while earthly redemption is sweet, redemption from Christ is the sweetest kind a person can experience. Most of you know my story.  You know that I struggled for many years with feeling unlovable due to past sin...a sin that I thought was tattooed on my forehead for all to see.  I was determined that no one loved me IF they only knew all about me and at the same time, I was convinced that everyone must have known about my secret because my self-esteem reflected the idea that no one loved me regardless of knowing.  Does that make sense?  Basically, I just didn't feel like I was loved.  The bottom line, I didn't love myself.  That was what spurred all of this senseless thinking on.  Even after I was married to the man who knew my secret and told me he loved me for me, regardless of my past, I just could not believe that.  And if I could not believe tha...

Hannah you are 9 months old!!

I skipped a few months but I will just start here and hope to continue on track!! Miss Hannah!  You are 9 months old??  How is that possible!?!  I just can't believe in 3 short months you will be A YEAR OLD!?  My baby...you are my baby and I want to keep you this age forever!!!  I love this baby stage!  If I could bottle you up right now I would.  BUT I am excited about who you are going to become.  I love you so much! Weight: 21 pounds, 3 ounces Height: 26.5 inches You are 80th percentile for weight and 75th for height!  You are still a big girl!  My sweet, squishy, BIG girl!!!  You still have really really chubby thighs and cheeks!  You are nursing just once..when you wake up in the morning (around 4:30-5:00) and then you take a 7 oz bottle at 3:00 and 5 oz bottle at bedtime. You eat fruit in the morning, veggie at lunch time, and meat/veggie at dinner and sometimes oatmeal before bedtime!  You are a SUPER eate...

For the Love of LIFE!

Tomorrow is Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. This day always falls on the Sunday closest to the anniversary of Roe vs. Wade. Today, January 22nd, marks the date that abortion was legalized in the United States. It is the 38th anniversary. Over the past several days I have read a few articles that center around abortion, choosing life, and what people are doing about both. I have read about a doctor who performs abortions illegally and keeps the contents stored in jars. Human body parts in jars. I have read about a couple that did IVF and then got pregnant with twin boys. Since they wanted a girl, they decided to terminate their pregnancy of these baby boys in hopes to get pregnant with a little girl. This couple had suffered the loss of a baby girl shortly before getting pregnant with the twins. They were quoted saying that they "deserved a little luck" and this was their "right." This case is sad but the fact is that many women choose to have abortions for all diff...
